Love the ease of access to the highway? Love only driving two minutes to reach Starbucks? Me too!
Ok, so I may be a little biased, but I think Nexton is one of the best things that could have happened to Summerville.
Since they have started building this new neighborhood...
They have started construction on two new hospitals, several doctor offices, a new elementary school, and child care center. There are still plans for a grocery store, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, and another big box store, to name a few. And for those concerned about losing the "charm" of this "Flowertown", it is far enough away from downtown Summerville for it not to lose its appeal. Another great thing about this area, it keeps us in Summerville off the highway when we are looking for a fun evening of shopping and dining, cutting down on traffic.
But Nexton is not in everyone's price point.
And some people would rather buy something a little cheaper in hopes to see their home equity values go up faster than those in a new community. Another great thing about Nexton is its location. In a three mile radius, you will be able to find homes currently on the market from under $100k to $1.7 million.
Have you been to the new Nexton community off of Hwy 26 in Summerville lately???
It is a community that is truly bridging the gap between work life, and home life. It is the first giga-fi community in the area, and that means super fast internet speeds throughout the community. It is not uncommon to see many business professionals working out in the parks. Yes, with Millennials leading the charge, the concept of working has changed in recent years, and many people have started to explore the different ways of getting their work done while enjoying the pleasures of life.
Nexton has seen this and stepped up to the challenge.
In Nexton, you will find a bank, Starbucks, wonderful dining options, and soon to be built shopping experiences to really entice its homeowners. A definite step away from traditional stores designed to only fill a need, while adding to the pressure of daily errands. All of this a short ride, or walk to the homesites.
As a resident of the Nexton community
you will be pleasantly surprised by the number of activities and festivals for its residents to participate in. There is such a sense of community here! one of the biggest is the Nexton Cocoa Cup 5k race, coming up again in December. People come from all over to participate in this race, and you will see many people dressed up as reindeer or elves. Definitely a lot of fun for the whole family!
Homes in Nexton start in the $200s and can go up to over $500k.
There are townhomes as well, and for those not quite ready to purchase, there are even some apartments for rent. One of the great features of Nexton is you can lease an apartment while building the home of your dreams there!
