You've Found Your Realtor: Now What?
Once Liza had figured out what my needs were, she quickly got me in contact with my agent, Susan Day. She knows all about relocating to a new state because she and her husband relocated to Charleston back in 2010. I spoke with her over the phone and set an appointment to meet with her today. It went amazing!
Susan specializes in first time homebuyers and has a real go-getter attitude. Not only that, but she has a very casual vibe and is empathetic which is exactly what I needed. Most people who are new to the home buying process need someone who understands how stressful and confusing this time can be. Susan sat me down and just talked to me about what I'm looking for.
I explained to her that I would really love to stay in West Ashley and my preference would be a one story home with a fenced in yard for my pup, Sam, to run around in. We talked a bit about the future, how long I plan on staying in this home, and what my goals are. After explaining that I definitely want marriage and children, we discussed how many rooms I wanted and the importance of school districts. Seeing as how this would be my starter home, we decided that we would focus on making sure I would have enough space for the possibility of a family and to also keep in mind resale value of whatever we look at.
She promised me that she has my best interests at heart and will hold my hand every step of the way. I couldn't be happier with my decision to use AgentOwned and also with my new friend and confidant, Susan Day. We have a few places to look at this weekend!
