Seaside Farms has a yard sale in the spring and fall ... It was this past weekend. My neighbor Sally and I pooled our junk-to-sell and had more fun than made money. It was a lot of work going through my stuff, cleaning it up and hauling it to Sally's driveway. Sally is a hoot and knows so many people, plus my daughter and her paramour were in town to help. We drank a lot of coffee, but looking back, we should have stirred up a picture of bloody marys.
One of Sally's friends is Barbara who is an artist living on Sullivan's Island. She and her husband will offer their unique home as part of an event to raise money for Charleston Pro Bono Services. There are 10 or 11 other Sullivan's Island homes featured on the tour, plus local chefs cooking at each house. I wouldn't miss this as I love to eat and I love to go inside unique, artsy homes.
Hope to see you there!
