Why It's Good To Go Downtown

As I went downtown to dinner Friday night with some friends from out of town, we drove out Morrison Drive to get to our restaurant Fleet Landing downtown.  As we were driving I noticed 2 new restaurants (at least they were new to me) on Morrison Drive, close to I-26.

Having done a little research on them, one was Edmond's Oust which has a hip, loft like atmosphere offering American fare, beer brewed on-site and craft cocktails.   We noticed a very nice outdoor patio that was very crowded with people dining outside.

The other restaurant also had outside dining and was the Butcher n Bee.  It was another hip outpost and offers a rotating menu of inventive, seasonal cuisine made with local ingredients with a garden out back of the restaurant.  Can you believe it?  The Butcher n Bee brings affordable late night food to the Upper King area with creative, veggie friendly menus changed daily and are sourced locally.  I dearly love and support anything local.

Since I too am hip, I simply must try these restaurants.  I love to dine outside so obviously, I qualify to dine at both!  Won't you join me and support our wonderful community of restaurants that we are so well known for in Charleston?
