Where to Eat in Charleston
Foodies love Charleston! And why not as our city is a culinary delight complete with gourmet restaurants of every cuisine. You can stroll on the cobblestone streets from breakfast straight through to dinner and eat at a fantastic restaurant for every meal. These are a few restaurants my family enjoyed and I hope you will too!
Pearlz Oyster Bar - My favorite hands down! Pearlz is a fun, eclectic restaurant with a wide variety of oysters. Also terrific low country favorites and lots of shellfish.
Magnolias - Great special occasion restaurant. It is a sophisticated take on low country cooking. Try the shrimp and scallop grits!
Stars Restaurant Rooftop and Grill Room - In addition to the magnificent rooftop dining there is a woodfire grill. This is a very impressive restaurant to take guests to as you can see all of downtown Charleston on the roof. It has a 1930’s feel with seasonal menu.
Low Country Bistro - As the name implies, low country comfort food with an elegant twist. Cozy atmosphere with seasonal local seafood!
Charleston Crab House - Dine by the water at the Charleston Crab House! Shellfish abounds at this fun and family friendly restaurant with succulent and fresh low country fish entrees.
I hope this is helpful in knowing where to eat in downtown Charleston! Dive in and try a few withr your family. You won’t be disappointed! Bon appetit!
