A Day Trip to McClellanville

About 25 miles from Mt Pleasant the hectic lifestyle slows down when you turn in on Pinckey St to the village of McClellanville.   Great old oaks and historical homes makes you feel like you have found your new home.  Pace of  life is slower and with the quaint shops along Main Street  makes for a fun visit.  #The Cottage" with its one of a kind items would keep you shopping for hours going from one room to the other.  Graham  Restaurant down the street has good food and good company.  Drive down the street to the boat landing for a view down the creek of the shrimp boats and the monument dedicated to the shrimpers in the area and the life they love.

Looking down Jeremy Creek with the creek winding around the village you just want to hop in a boat and see what might be around the next bend.  Make it a point to check out the village and stay for a while.  You will not be disappointed.
