The Crescent Median PhotoLast week, I told you a little about The Crescent charming neighborhood in Charleston right off of Folly Road.  The land was originally The Crescent Plantation in the 1800’s and gained its name from being crescent shaped, which was later divided by the Wappoo Cut Bridge.

Wappoo Realty Company purchased the land in 1926 and developed the neighborhood.  There is an avenue of oaks on New Town Lane, which used to lead to the old plantation house on Wappoo Creek.  There are some gorgeous lakes off Broughton Road, which is part of the common area managed by the homeowners association.

The location of The Crescent is wonderful, as you can be in downtown Charleston in 10-15 minutes, or the other direction to Folly Beach in 15 minutes.  If you would like to considering living in The Crescent, please call or text me at 843-276-7976.The Crescent Lake
