Preparing for the Holidays
Remember the holidays are coming and safety is Key.
Christmas is one of, if not our most favorable holiday for the year. We love the Christmas spirit, the lights, the songs, the snow, Santa, and everything else that brings the Christmas spirit. I love driving by the homes decked out with lights and Christmas themes. I believe the more, the better.
But with all that, safety needs to be enforced when using the lights and yard decor. Make sure you use approved rated wires. Check electrical voltage. Make sure your home power can handle all the electrical current you will be drawing when it comes to the Christmas tree. Make sure it's fresh if you are going to use a real tree. Make sure you keep it in a bowl of water or a wet towel wrapped at the bottom. Make sure you don't leave the lights on all day and all night because it can cause it to dry out and heat up. The more lights you use, the more heat you will make. Fake trees can also be a fire hazard. So treat it just like a real tree when it comes to safety.
So keep safety 1st, so you can keep your home safe and have a very Merry Christmas every year.
