If you are ever looking for a fun, outdoor activity activity and love live music than you should check out Party at the Point located at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina.  The 17th season of Party at the Point with all the excellent local/tribute bands is nearly halfway over so make sure to plan your next Friday night soon.  Every Friday from now until June 30th will feature great food, drinks and music sponsored by 105.5 the Bridge.  The cost is $7 at the door and event begins at 5:30.  Music doesn't begin until around 6:30 but the music and fun goes on until 10:00.  Food/drink tickets can be purchased once you enter with each ticket costing a dollar.  Food items range from 4-10 tickets while beers are 5 and cocktails range from 6-7.  The scenery is fantastic with a beautiful beach setting and  gorgeous views of the Charleston Harbor. You can even walk on the Resort's Pier to listen to the music and soak in some sunshine and even better views of our beautiful city.  There are several drink vendors to choose from and swift bartenders so the lines are never too long.  Take your shoes off and dance the night away at this beautiful, beach front venue and family friendly atmosphere.. So far the music line up has been outstanding with bands such as Banana Pancakes (Jack Johnson Tribute Band), Dead 27’s & Trongone Band, Soul Driven Train with Sally and George and  The Reckoning (Grateful Dead Tribute Band). This Memorial Day weekend we have The Dave Matthews Tribute Band to look forward to, followed by the Sgt. Submarine (Beatles Tribute Band), Broadcast 90 (The ultimate 90’s Tribute Band),  Blue Dogs with Finnegan Bell, Reggae Night with the Dub Plates and finally, Departure (Journey Tribute Band) capping off the season.  So grab some friends or family and join us for one of the next 6 Fridays of great entertainment and fun.
