Moving to Summerville SC Part 12 - More what to do
I spoke too soon last week…..it hasn’t felt like Fall here this past week – temps in high 80’s but back in Wisconsin – it is in the 90’s so I can’t complain – even for the Packer game it was still 90 in Green Bay……they aren’t complaining because probably in a week or two they will get snow! Ugh! I have looked at the forecast for the week ahead, and little cooler temps are predicted. Yeah!
The house is almost completed….we close in 24 days (follow the progress and my Summerville relocation!). Landscaping was completed this week and when I walked by the house this morning, the cleaners were there inside. All that is left is the back porch and a few minor items.
In the meantime – I have 3 more places that you really shouldn’t miss in October.
- The Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch is now open through October 31st. Boone Hall Plantation is located in Mt Pleasant (just a short trip from Summerville) and is one of the most popular plantations in the Charleston area.
Definitelyput on your “to do” list.
- The Flowertown Group of AgentOwned Realty is sponsoring a Community Fall Festival on October 14th from 10am-2pm. Get your face painted, jump on a jumpy castle and enjoy delicious BBQ. This is a free event and fun for the whole family but they would like you to register for it. Click on the link above to get all the info.
- My last
suggestfor this week is the Carolina Coastal Fair which runs from October 26th to November 5th. Who doesn’t like a fair with the carnival rides, entertainment, competitions and all that delicious fried food that you can indulge in once in a while?
These are just 3 more ideas of what to do this Fall – turn in next week for more. Let me know what you like to do in South Carolina in the Fall – I am always looking for things to do since
