Get outside and take a hike!

Here is my second attempt at this week's blog!  After writing the first one, I hit the back button (by accident) without saving and lost EVERYTHING!

So now that the caffeine from my morning coffee is wearing off, let me try this again!

Get outside and take a hike!

We are coming up on my favorite time of the year in the Lowcountry....FALL!

Following my blog last week, Lowcountry Inshore Family Fishing I wrote about getting away from the electronics and get outside and enjoy the Lowcountry.

With the weather (hopefully) getting cooler over the next few weeks, one of my favorite activities is to get outside and take a walk/hike with my family.  We have some beautiful places around the area to explore and enjoy the fresh air….or sometimes the salty, smelly pluff mud (which I love!).

Some of my favorite places-

Shell Mound Trail - This is one of my favorite short hikes, but according to the website it is currently closed.  I will try to get by over the next week to verify if it is closed.

Laurel Hill County Park

I’on Swamp

Caw Caw Interpretive Center

Palmetto Island County Park

James Island County Park

Charles Town Landing

Old Santee Canal Park

As always, please keep me in mind if you, your friends, or family have any real estate needs in the Charleston area!
