Don't rely on Zillow it may have a 20% margin of error on home values
While the internet is a great tool to research a major purchase such as electronics, cars and even research area homes for sale; getting an estimate from Zillow on a home to purchase or even trying to price your home to sell often is not a very reliable resource. According to Zillow’s own research, almost 25% of all houses listed on its site (that have Zestimates) end up selling for a price that is 20% higher or 20% lower than its published Zestimate.
