Another one of many great reasons to live in Charleston!

There are some great areas to visit very close by. Some day trips, weekend trips, and some extended weekend getaways.

Old Sheldon Church Ruins

This weekend, my wife and I went to explore the Beaufort, SC area. We stopped by the Old Sheldon Church Ruins to explore the ruins of an old church that dated back to the late 1750's. After that, we were ready for lunch and made the drive out to Saint Helena Island to have some delicious mahi tacos and a large salad at the Foolish Frog restaurant.

We then drove back into Beaufort and checked in at the Beaufort Inn down near the waterfront.  Along the waterfront are several restaurants with indoor and outdoor patio seating.  We enjoyed a nice walk along the waterfront and had a nice dinner on the patio at the Saltus River Grill.

The next morning we enjoyed a light breakfast sandwich and some great coffee at Common Ground Coffee on the outdoor patio overlooking the water.  After breakfast we made the 2 hours drive back to Charleston relaxed and refreshed!

If you are looking to relocate to the area and enjoy everything Charleston has to offer, please feel free to email, text, or give me a call for more information!
