For starters: a climate perfect for year-round outdoor activities.  No snow or being cooped up inside for months at a time!  It felt like spring here all through February. The azaleas are already blooming with the camellias!  Our temperatures were in the 70's for most of the month!

Events & Festivals for Everyone:

  • Wine & Food Festival
  • Fashion Week
  • Summerville Flowertown Festival
  • Festival of House and Gardens
  • Cooper River Bridge Run

2017 has started off with a bang for our local real estate market!  January 2017 was the busiest January the Charleston real estate market has ever seen on record.  This demanding pace has put our inventory on the low side. No one wants to leave and lots of people want to move to our great economy and lifestyle.

Fortunately, there is plenty of new construction all over the tri-county area.   From huge small city communities, (where you can commute to school/work via bicycle, foot, or golf cart) to small intimate communities (where everyone knows everyone) to Active Adult Communities (where activities abound)!

Flying into Charleston International Airport you will find a newly remodeled airport - looking just fantastic!  Lots of dining options here: Caviar and Bananas, Golden Bear Grill, Charleston Beer Works, Harvest and Grounds, just to mention a few.

Top Chef had its season in Charleston and it was a huge success.  The culinary life is thriving here in Charleston...we may soon be BBQ Capital of the US!
