Community in West Ashley

Approximately 30 years ago, I moved from Atlanta to Charleston and fortunately landed in West Ashley in Ashley Hall Manor Subdivision, which is so convenient to most everything in the Lowcountry. We're minutes from the beaches, the airport, interstates, downtown, other communities, schools, churches and plenty of shopping.
Ashley Hall Manor is a neighborhood of approximately 220 brick homes built in the 60s with some original owners still in their homes. We also have adults that have grown up here, moved away and moved back because it's such a nice area. I like it so much I moved one time however, it was only across the street and moved one digit from 1636 to 1637.....no kidding, still a major move!
It's a quaint little community where we have a voluntary neighborhood association with fees that are only $12 annually with very good participation at our neighborhood meetings. We also have a Facebook page where many neighbors write in with announcements, opinions, or general statements.
The homes have increased in value tremendously ranging in prices from $150,000 to one that recently sold for $322,000 that had been very nicely renovated. With the forthcoming of the West Ashley revitalization, properties will continue to increase in value. Stay Tuned!
