Buying activity was very strong from 9/22/17-9/28/17 in the Charleston area! According to Charleston Real Estate Stats, 310 residential properties went under contract.
Mount Pleasant had 37 homes go under contract with a median of $211 per square foot.
The Peninsula had 8 homes go under contract with a median of $402 per square foot.
Daniel Island did very well having 7 homes go under contract with a median of $302 per square foot.
James Island also did great with having 14 homes go under contract with a median of $211 per square foot.
Our real estate market is very, very strong. It is projected that there will be over 18k homes sold this year for an all-time record. New construction abounds all over the tri-county area, but especially in the area near the new Volvo plant. Lots of investors are buying up rental properties and the rental market is very strong as well!
