Shopping in a thrift store can be overwhelming! You walk into a huge store to an ocean of clothing and household goods. Most stores arrange by gender stereotypical clothing, some arrange by items – shirts, pants, dresses, etc. - while some arrange by color with ALL items of clothing mixed up.
Here’s how I handle it so I have time for a life outside of shopping:
- Keep your hands to yourself! There isn’t enough time to flip through the racks one item at a time.
- Think Outfits: At these prices, I can afford to walk out with a whole outfit, or, if I’m completing an outfit, I focus on that piece first. What good does that fabulous shirt do if you don’t have anything to wear with it?
