Are You Ready To Buy A Home?
At a certain point in your life you will decide you are ready to buy your first home. But what does that mean? Is buying a house simply getting a mortgage and finding the right home for you? Is buying a house as easy as it seems on TV? For the next few weeks I will be doing a series of blogs focusing on what buying a home is really like. We’ll go through all the steps of home buying in detail, and we’ll talk to people from a variety of professions that you’ll need to help you accomplish the American dream, owning your own home. This series will hopefully give you some insight into what buying a home is really like and answer these following questions:
-Do you need an agent?
-How do you know you’re ready to buy? How do you find the right home for you?
-What it was actually like buying a home in today’s market from the perspective of a new buyer.
-What does it take to get financing for your new home?
-What expenses come with buying your home.
-What does your real estate professional actually do when helping you come up with your offer?
-Your offer is accepted but closing will take a few weeks, why?
-What happens during due diligence, what is a buyer beware state?
-What will you need to bring to the closing table and what you can expect.
Next week we’ll discuss if you need an agent, why and why not?
