Its finally starting to feel like winter. With the cooler weather comes new food cravings and the desire to eat something hot. Soup season is among us and we all know that the best kind of soup is chili. November 18th is a day that our beloved city celebrates this delicious cold weather food. So come on down to North Charleston Riverfront park for the 18th annual Chili Cook Off and Oyster Roast. The event goes from 12-4PM and will have plenty of activities for the whole family. Other than multiple chilis to taste and delicious oysters there will be live music, a beer garden and corn hole. There will also be a kids zone to keep the children busy and activities such as bubble soccer. The best part about this event is that it is being hosted by the Charleston Animal Society, so you know it's for a good cause. This event is perfect for those looking into getting a pet because there will be plenty of furry friends at this event looking for homes. This event is $25 and free for children under the age of 10. What could be better than oysters, chili, live music and puppies? The answer is nothing, and that’s exactly why I will see you and your family at this epic event on the 18th!
