Jimmie Johnson is a local realtor who has spent the last three decades in sales. She has been known among her peers as a shrewd businesswoman and a master negotiator. Jimmie started her professional career as a Bloodstock Agent in her home state of Kentucky. What is a Bloodstock Agent you ask? Think stockbroker but dealing in the trading of thoroughbred racing and breeding stock. This was a great experience because not only did Jimmie learn about business and sales, but she also learned how to deal with different types of personalities. Some of her clients were among the richest and most powerful people in the world; Arab sheiks, bankers, oil magnates. It was then that Jimmie learned she couldn’t be intimidated. She also learned negotiation skills, as well as perseverance and the ability to compromise. These skills have only been honed and perfected over the years.

Jimmie left the bloodstock agency after the birth of her children and spent the next years as a stay at home mom. But when her children started school Jimmie returned to the classroom and completed a degree in nursing. She spent the next 8 years as an RN in the medical intensive care unit. After moving to the Carolinas, Jimmie was encouraged to blend her sales and nursing experience and pursue and career in medical device sales. Here she worked herself up from a territory salesperson to the manager of her very own team in just 6 short years. Jimmie continuously surpassed sales goals and was the recipient of many awards, including numerous President’s Club honors.

But in addition to Jimmie's career advancement, she has always had a special interest in Real Estate. Perhaps moving so many times is what exposed her to the business and piqued her interest. Jimmie and her husband Gary have moved 9 times across 3 states. Each time she staged their home herself to sell. And, needless to say, their homes always sold fast and at or near their asking price! In fact, their last home in Charlotte sold in 2 weeks and for more than any home previously in that neighborhood. Because of Jimmie's natural ability to market and stage, as well as how well Jimmie knew the market, their realtor in Charlotte encouraged Jimmie to get into Real Estate.

Since then real estate has provided a unique opportunity to combine her business expertise with her love for her community. Jimmie's goal is to bring joy to people and help them realize their dreams related to their home. She ensures a smooth and satisfactory real estate transaction for her clients, and her experience from all fields related to real estate makes her the ideal realtor for both buyers and sellers. She is always glad to help her clients regardless of their budget. She is customer-oriented, and she often connects with them on a one-on-one basis.

In addition to her professional life, Jimmie is also a proud mother of two boys, Sam and Max. When she's not at work making real estate sales, she spends time with her husband, Gary and their dog, TJ. You'll often find the three of them walking their neighborhood in Carolina Park on on the beach at Isle of Palms. Jimmie also enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time with her friends and neighbors, some of who have become like family!

Jimmie's hope for this endeavor is to not only make a living but create a new life. Her intention is to become part of the fabric of the community in which she serves. Jimmie wants to be the one that friends and neighbors think of when anything real estate comes to mind. You see, Jimmie is also a nurturer.
