Trash to Treasures
A few of my Good Finds
I’m sure you have all heard the old saying one man’s junk is another man’s treasures. I have to admit that I have been known to take a few things from the curb the night before trash. I actually have to admit that on my nightly walk with the dog tonight I pick up a radio flyer red wagon. The dog was not all that happy with me pulling that down the street to take it home, but he survived and once it was dropped off at home we continued to walk the street for more treasures. I enjoy to take a piece that was in the trash, sometimes give it a face lift and put it on craigslist or facebook to sell. There is nothing better than a free piece of trash to make a quick buck on. There are also the times when you bring something home and it then ends up at your curbside trash.
If you had the time to drive around the neighborhoods and pick treasure up curbside there is a good amount of extra spending money to be made. I have also gotten a few decorating pieces that are still in my home, a few things still had tags on them.
I have also found some cool trash to treasure crafts that are done with recycled pieces.
You don’t always need to spend a ton of money to decorate your home with so many inexpensive crafts online with everyday items that you might be throwing away. So once you buy that perfect home go online and search for ways to be creative and try to recycle some items that might be going in the landfill.
If you have the perfect treasures and now you are ready to buy, sell or rent Please feel free to give me a call to see how I can help!
