Have you noticed these bike racks where all the bikes look alike? They're sponsored by MUSC Health and now that you know about them you'll start noticing them all over the peninsula!
The way it works is you can use the app on your phone or on the bicycle itself. You can view the map of locations to pick up and reserve a bicycle. So, let's say you want to start at Hampton Park and go meet a friend for ice cream a few miles away. You'll open the app, get a 4 digit pin to release the bike from the rack and be on your way to meet your friend! It's that easy! When you get to the ice cream shop, stop, press the HOLD button and lock it in the rack. You can HOLD for up to 30 minutes. When you're ready to ride again, re-enter your pin and be on your way! You can view maps, pricing and more details on 'how it works' on their website: Holy Spokes Ride Remember to follow the rules of the road and ride safely!
You don't have to be 'going anywhere' to rent a Holy Spokes bike. You may want to tour different neighborhoods on the Charleston Peninsula to decide where you'd like to live. In that case, let me know where I can meet you during your ride. I can give you details about the different neighborhoods and show you homes! You can check out the neighborhoods here: https://www.charlestoncitypaper.com/charleston/downtown-charlestons-neighborhoods-explained/Content?oid=6112051 You can also browse the neighborhoods for homes on my website: www.yourhomeincharleston.com
