Rain, rain, rain….. Things to do in Charleston when it is raining.

 Beach Storm

After the last several days of rain in the Lowcountry, it had me thinking of things to do in Charleston when it is raining.

-The South Carolina Aquarium

-Patriots Point and Maritime Museum (for the most part, you will stay dry!)

-North Charleston & American LaFrance Fire Museum

-Restaurants – Too many to list here! Feel free to reach out to me for some recommendations!

-Breweries – If you like a cold beer, check out some of the local area breweries.  They are popping up everywhere around the Lowcountry!  Another category that has too many to list, so feel free to reach out for some of my personal recommendations.

-Museums

A few listed below:

            -Charleston Museum

            -Gibbs Museum of Art

            -Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry

This is also a great website to learn more about the many museums in the area Charleston Museum Mile.

These are just a few things to occupy your time on a rainy day in Charleston.  Charleston and the surrounding area is a wonderful place to visit and especially live to experience all it has to offer.

As always, please keep me in mind if you, your friends, or family have any real estate needs in the Charleston area!
