This week I'm bringing the spot light to the Planters Pointe Community located in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
This community is located in the northern part of the city (off Hwy 41) with two entrances. One entrance is located inside of the Rivertowne subdivision and the main entrance located right on Hwy 41. The two side of Planter's Pointe are connected by a wooden bridge accessible by bike, foot, or golf cart.
Planters Pointe is another large community, however, not as large as some of the Small City Communities. With close to 700 families calling Planters Pointe home, I feel its not too big, not too small, but just the perfect size. Planters Pointe is an established community with the days of construction long gone, and replaced with - golf cart traffic!
On weekend mornings you can find families golf carting up to the Starbucks (located inside Harris Teeter) for their morning cup of Jo. There is actually a designated golf cart path connecting the community to the Harris Teeter (which residents us as The Corner Store) shopping center (Rivertowne Place). It's so convenient to bike up to the store and get something you need, and you'll always meet one of your neighbors, while shopping!
There is also lots of foot traffic, here too! You will always find residents out and about in this family friendly neighborhood. There are miles of walking paths which connect to the the amenity center (Jr. Olympic swimming pool, tennis, and play park) in this community. You will even get to know you neighbors pets by name as you see them walking out and about in this perfect sized community.
If you are thinking about buying, selling, up-sizing, or down-sizing, I am here to help you explore the many options of the American Dream...Home-ownership!
