Fall is approaching the lowcountry Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze Season!
The great thing about the lowcountry is the balance of a "big city" feel but our deep roots in agriculture and ties to the land means there's still great attractions within miles of anywhere in the tri county area. Some of the most popular are Lagare Farms on John's island, one of the oldest working farms in the area, Historic Boone Hall Plantation in Mt.Pleasant, and West Farms in Moncks Corner. I've personally been to each and they are fun for a family day out or a large group of friends at night. The most challenging I feel is West Farms at night, they use stations that you can check into much like a golf course and you punch a card that shows you were able to negotiate the maze successfully.
Boone Hall has great facilities for the family, a large pumpkin patch and tons of food and fun. Plus the large jumping areas and feed the goats as they negotiate their own 3 story play area. It's very interactive and each a very affordable for a day out in the glorious lowcountry weather.
