First of all, there is no question that things are booming right now. Currently, there have been 10.5% more transactions than the prior year. Overall, the greater Charleston area will see over 16,000 transactions this calendar year. That will put us at either the best, or the 2nd best year in our history. While the median home price has grown steadily, it has not sky-rocked out of control per se We are averaging a 5.1% increase in the median sales price which places us at $244k.
The most notable part of all of the trends, whether you are a buyer or a seller, is the fact that the growth is steady.
