Not just because I'm half Greek, but one of the fun events to attend in Charleston is the Greek Festival. This year’s spring event on Mother’s Day weekend didn’t disappoint! The Greek Festival is the 3rd largest festival in Charleston, and this was their 47th year holding the event.
Greeks are known for their hospitality and great food. The menu offered something for everyone with various gyros, traditional dishes like dolmades, mousaka, spanakopita, and pastichio, and of course LAMB! There were at least a dozen different dessert options, including a baklava ice cream sundae.
